As the UX and Visual Designer for the Security Intelligence Blog—IBM Security’s flagship content platform—I was responsible for enhancing the user experience and visual identity to align with strategic content goals and brand standards. My role centered on optimizing readability, accessibility, and engagement across a variety of editorial formats, including long-form research articles, breaking cybersecurity news, and expert analysis.
In 2024, the Security Intelligence blog underwent a significant user experience (UX) overhaul, emphasizing enhanced navigation and content discoverability. Key changes included the elimination of certain sections and the implementation of clearer topic categorization.

The blog also introduced new components like the “News” component, a “Light/Dark” mode component, and category placement.

Leveraged data insights, heatmaps, and user feedback to inform iterative design improvements and support content performance goals.
This role allowed me to blend analytical thinking with creative design, ensuring that complex cybersecurity topics were accessible, visually compelling, and easy to navigate for a global audience.
